BEIJING – Chinese stocks opened higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.08 percent to open at 3,026.94 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.09 percent higher at 10,788.69 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, was up 0.25 percent to open at 2,294.71 points Monday.

The ChiNext Index, together with the Shenzhen Component Index and other indices, reflects the performance of stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
