BEIJING – China's major stock indices ended mixed in the morning session Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.5 percent to 3,050.18 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.03 percent to 10,962.18 points at midday. 

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, went up 0.03 percent to 2,402.33 points in the morning session Friday.

The ChiNext Index, together with the Shenzhen Component Index and other indices, reflects the performance of stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
