BEIJING — China's new yuan-denominated loans totaled 1.81 trillion yuan (about 259.85 billion US dollars) in February, central bank data showed Friday.

The M2, a broad measure of money supply that covers cash in circulation and all deposits, increased 12.9 percent year on year to 275.52 trillion yuan at the end of last month, according to the People's Bank of China.
